Matt Segal
From roots in the deep South, Evolv athlete Matt Segal got his start as a competition sport climber, and very quickly rose to the top of the game. After moving West and being introduced to trad climbing, he has become a specialist in very hard and sparsely protected routes like The Cobra Crack (5.14, 5th ascent), Iron Monkey (5.14-, FA), and China Doll (5.14R, 2nd ascent). Recently, Matt has found a new love: alpine climbing and establishing remote crags. He has spent much of the last two years in throughout the US, Nepal, Argentina, and Australia.
