Climbing and being outside have always been a big part of Doro’s life, as an irreplacable source of happiness and a welcome counterbalance to university and work.
Mainly focusing on bouldering, Doro has done more than 50 problems between 8A and 8B (V11 to V13) all over the world. Amongst these are some first ascents, like the highball slab ‘Auf leisen Pfoten’ (8A) in Ticino/Switzerland and the crimpy ‘In the Cloud’ (V12) in the Grampians,/Australia. She loves technical climbing, so many of her favourite climbs can be found in Fontainebleau, France, like the notorious slab ‘Duel’ (8A) or the powerful arete ‘Partage’ (8A+).
In her home area, the Frankenjura, she occasionally also does some sportclimbing, where she climbed her hardest route so far, the beautiful ‘Headcrash’ rated 8c / 11-.
She is looking forward to many more challenges, travels and adventures and nice days outside with interesting people!
Winter or Summer? Spring and fall!
What’s in your fridge right now? Many, many vegetables, Quark and a lot of french cheese I brought home from my recent trip to Fontainebleau.
Do you have a spirit animal? A cat! I’m kinda crazy about cats, pathetically I don’t have one…
