Jason’s climbing style is not exactly gentle, but if you need someone to clean your route or check for loose holds, he just might be your guy. He’s a lousy boulderer, but a great spotter. Limited patience for a project, but endless passion for an adventure. Some of Jason Nelson’s winter climbing achievements include big wall ice climbing first ascents in Alaska, M13 mixed climbs in Colorado, and podium finishes at ice climbing competitions. In warmer months he has established long difficult rock climbs and a host of shorter climbs in the USA and Mexico. He can usually be found in the Southwest traveling around with his wife Lisa in their RV that they live full time out of or at some of the climbing festivals they frequently attend, compete at, and teach clinics for.
