Thomas Maxson began climbing about 10 years ago in southern California where he grew up calling almost everyone “dude”, a habit that resurfaces around other californians. Thomas eventually moved to Arizona, of all places, to go to college. He spent his college years ticking difficult classic boulders in the state and surrounding areas. Then he moved north to Flagstaff because the potential for new boulders seemed pretty incredible. And it is. In the last four years Thomas and one or two others have had the opportunity to clean and climb hundreds of new and excellent boulders, some high, some low, some long and some hard. Thomas is excited to spend the next years finding more new things, sharing them with those who ask and traveling out of the country to climb, dude.
