At Evolv, we recognize that finding the right-sized climbing shoe is hard. Everyone’s feet are unique and different. Getting the right size and shape that best fits your foot is a complicated process.

To help identify your size, Evolv has categorized options into three groups based on your objectives: Max Performance, Performance, and Comfort.

Max Performance: This is your street shoe size. This is an ultra-snug fit. This is how the shoe was designed to deliver the maximum possible performance. It's perfect for pushing your limits and will require a break in period.

Performance Fit: If you prefer a snug fit that is still comfortable to wear out of the box for a full session, add a half (½) compared to your street shoe.

Comfort Fit: If your priority is a comfortable fit for multipitch climbs and for climbers just starting out in the sport, add 1 to 1.5 sizes to your street shoe.

Remember, climbing shoes are meant to be snug. Excessive dead space inside the shoe can result in the foot slipping inside the shoe. Expect a break-in period as your foot and the shoe adapt to each other.

Evolv sizing uses three categories of fit:  Max Performance, Performance, and Comfort.
 
      Max Performance: Choose street shoe size. Ultra-snug fit to deliver the maximum possible performance.
 
      Performance Fit: Choose street shoe size and add .5 to 1.0 size. Snug fit for longer sessions.
 
      Comfort Fit: Choose street shoe size and add 1.0 to 1.5 sizes. Comfortable fit for multi-pitch or entry-level.
 
All Evolv shoes come in Medium Volume and Low Volume options.
 
      Medium Volume: Designed for a performance fit and average volume foot shapes.
 
      Low Volume: Designed for a maximum performance fit and lower volume foot shapes.

VOLUME
 
All Evolv shoes come in a Medium Volume and Low Volume option for one reason: to get everyone in the best fitting shoe for them. Overall, our LV shoes have 6% less volume than the MV. So, if you know you have a lower volume foot, if your climbing shoes are a bit too spacious, or if you want a more performance fit for your projects, the LV may be your next go-to shoe.
