Biography
Samuel Watson is an Olympic speed climber that currently holds the US national and Pan - American record. He qualified for the Paris 2024 games by winning the Pan American games in Santiago 2023.
Born in 2006, at 16 years old Sam Watson was the youngest to ever win an IFSC speed world cup, also being the first and only American to do so.
Outside of climbing some of Sam’s favorite hobbies include playing chess, watching basketball, and learning languages.
Sam loves the process of training and competing in speed climbing but hails himself as a “lifelong climber” and enjoys going outside and doing outdoor bouldering and lead climbing as frequently as he can.
